Ecocem Next Generation Bagged Cement
The newly produced Ecocem Next Generation Cement bags ready to be shipped off to retailers
Kingston Lafferty Design have been very busy of late, working on the secret branding project for Ecocem’s Next Generation Bagged Cement which has been officially launched today in their new cement bagging plant in Dublin Port, by Minister Brian Hayes. This has been a very exciting job to be part of and has been a working progress for over the past year. We have worked on some branding and graphic design items for Ecocem in the past but this new product  required us to create an entire new identity for the brand. Stemming from the original Ecocem logo, we developed a strong new identity for the bagged cement product that will stand out in the retail market and will be clearly recognisable to buyers and suppliers throughout Ireland and England. Our design role involved designing the cement bag itself. This was the key to the overall branding. Further to this, we designed the Silos that are located at the cement plant, and all of the other marketing and sales material including, product data sheets, a4 folders, invitations, flyers and branded clothing, pens and mugs. The bagging has now started production and our bags can be found stacked high on pallets in the bagging plant. Keep an eye out in your local hardware stores in the coming months to see them!

Ecocem Sustainable Construction Conference
After working for Emission Zero we were hired to do some design work for Ecocem. Ecocem is an Irish Eco cement company that has plants in countries around the globe.
We took their logo of a fresh Granny Smith apple and designed a series of corporate graphics for them including invitations, advertising graphics, gobo designs, decal design, bag designs. These were all for an important Sustainable Construction Conference that that took place in the new CCD, Convention Centre Dublin. This event was for over 400 top clients and business assossiates.

Kingston Lafferty Design was hired on a low budget to create an experience to the invited. It was important to make the branding very strong so that it was clear to the visitors that it was an Ecocem event and clear by the directional design where to go. We got perspex cubes of varying scale constructed and filled them with varying elements of the raw cement product and Granny Smith apples. We also designed and organised lighting, table top features, desk graphics, gobo and visitor bags for the event. For the small budget that we worked with the event was very successful.
