KLD were retained by the Tootoomoo restaurant chain and hired to redesign their existing restaurant in London, Crouch End. The client objective was to expand their existing, loyal customer base and gain a name for itself for both the strong design and Asian culture.
A key client objective was to further develop the restaurants character into a more sophisticated identity, as well as showcasing the brand as a real contender within the competitive restaurant market and creating more seating and areas within the space itself.
KLD created different zones within the space, adding a cocktail bar area as well as booth seating areas and the controversial red seating area. The aim was to provide customers with different experiences, taking them on an Asian inspired journey from entering the bustling restaurant and bar.
