Templeton Residence, located in the highly sought after Ballsbridge area in Dublin, is a light filled, high-end and contemporary apartment part of the Lansdowne Place Luxury development by Chartered Land. With stunning full height views of the surrounding architecture and mature landscaping, the aim was to bring understated contemporary elegance and feminine glamour to the newly completed apartment, whilst capturing a timelessness and enhancing functionality and storage for our client.
We sought to increase the feeling of spaciousness throughout with a reflective and light toned materiality. We incorporated inset marble tiling into the entrance hallway to differentiate the areas and added elegant profile panelling throughout the apartment to enhance the luxury element. Marble and brass wall sconces link the different spaces and add a warmth to the walls. The main spaces link to provide one large kitchen, lounge, dining area and home office. It was important that there was a visible and continuous flow to these spaces. We designed custom joinery to provide additional storage and mirror the stunning views, whilst linking the different zones. Custom KLD brass benches and storage cabinets line the perimeter walls and reflect the cascading sheer curtains which run throughout the spaces with marble filled walls maximising the main bathroom.
The bedroom and separate lounge provide more intimate and cocooning environments to offer an alternative atmosphere. Light fittings, furniture and fine fabrics were carefully selected to enhance the spaces and provide the client with a light filled sanctuary.
