The colour green is the colour of balance, harmony and growth creating equilibrium between the head and the heart. Green is also the colour of spring, renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is the sanctuary away from the stresses of modern living, green restores a sense of wellbeing. Green is an emotionally positive colour, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. Green promotes a love of nature, and a love of family, friends, pets and the home. It is the colour of the garden lover, the home lover and the good host. On the other hand green is the colour of prosperity and abundance, of finance and material wealth. It relates to the business world, to real estate and property.

Variations of the colour green can be used for different purposes. Pale green is the colour of new growth on plants, it indicates youthfulness and allows us to see things from a new perspective. We would recommend using Dulux Tuscan Glade 4 it on wall panelling in libraries or places where you need to concentrate and be surrounded by a non-distracting but inspiring environment.

Emerald green is an uplifting colour suggesting abundance and wealth in all its forms. Materials like marble add a luxurious touch to any environment when used as fireplaces or countertops. Use darker shades of Emerald green on your upholstery.

Generally we would recommend having lots of planting in the house and therefore using variations of greens in their most natural form.
